June Liver & Intestinal Cleanse/Detox 2009 - Day 9 (Individual 1)

What Did I Eat Today?

Breakfast: latte, apple and almond and peanut butter

Lunch: small lentil soup with veggies, millet cereal for dessert    

Dinner Snack: 2.5 servings of millet cerealL a bit of coffee

Dinner: cucumber salad with avocado and a small bit of onion, olive oil and lemon. ½ apple and almond butter w honey. ½ glass of wine

 

80 oz of water today

 

 

How Do I feel? 

Feeling fine, ran a lot today and taught today. Had lots of energy. Ofcourse wanted to just eat nonstop all day againL That's why I had the coffee in the afternoon to stop the eating. Plus I just didn't feel like eating lots of veggies. I'm really looking forward to having some fish or chicken soon! Almost doneJ I know I didn't eat the best today but I didn't cheat too badly. One more day! One more day!

 

Notice any changes in my body? Still feeling good.

What did I eat today?

Breakfast: Apple

Lunch: Lentil Soup- canned Organic

Dinner: Salad with avacado, cucumber and lemon juice, garlic and olive oil

Snack: Veggie Chips from Trader Joes (not sure if this is ok for a cleanse, but the ingredients lookd good, so that is what I had)

How do I feel today?

Today I was not very hungry.  Did not feel like eating very much.  But energy levels good, feel good today.  Not bloated, my abdominal area feels more open than it has in years!

What Did I Eat Today?

Breakfast: latte with almond milk, peanuts

Lunch: millet rice cereal with almond milk, okra kale with green salad and avocado

Dinner Snack: millet rice cereal with almond milk

Dinner: cilantro avocado cucumber salad and baked sweet potatoes apple and peanut butter, ½ glass of wine

 

70-80 oz of water today

How Do I feel? Went for 2 walks today and taught class. Felt good, had regular amount of energy.

 

Notice any changes in my body? I generally feel that if I don't have fruit or some type of spice or kick to my food in my diet, my intestines don't work! Why is that? They feel lazy. Its been that way since having the eating disorder 10 years ago.

Breakfast: Whole Grain toast with an apple

Lunch: stir fry veggies (zucchini, mushrooms, onions, cabbage, garlic)

Dinner: salad with cucumbers and garlic, lemon juice and olive oil

Snack: movie popcorn! oops! 

Water, water, water!

How Do I feel?

 Feel good today but the movie theater smell was just too much.  i had some popcorn with butter on it.  felt ok after but not as good as I have been feeling.  tomorrow is another day.

What Did I Eat Today?

Breakfast: Apple and Peanut/Almond Butter, Latte with almond milk

Lunch: Salad with Turmeric Toor dal and avocado, 1 serving millet rice cereal

Dinner Snack: 1 large serving millet rice cereal

Dinner: veggie broth soup with avocado, cilantro and cucumber, peanuts/almonds, ½ glass of wine

 

90 oz of water today

 

How Do I feel? I feel good today, pretty normal. Definitely have the feeling of wanting to eat more at night. Not that my body wants it, but my mind and tastebuds do.

June Liver & Intestinal Cleanse/Detox 2009 - Day 6 (Individual 2)

What I ate today:

Breakfast- Almond milk with Nutritional Yeast, an apple

Lunch- leftover stirfry with quinoa

Dinner- Black Beans and Brown Rice

Lots of Water!

How Did I Feel Today?

Felt good, had another busy day, so was distracted from thinking about food.  Nothing much to report today. Still only lost the initial weight.  4 lbs.  I'm kinda suprised.  I have almost no sugar, no processed foods and very little fat in my diet, and am eating less in general and have only lost a bit of weight.  Oh well.  It wasn't the goal.  I do feel worlds better!

What Did I Eat Today?

Breakfast: Apple Peanut/Almond Butter, Latte with almond milk

Lunch: sweet potato, salad, avocado oil and lemon

Dinner Snack: peanut butter and apple, amaranth and almond milk with cinnamon

Dinner: okra and yellow squash, ½ glass of wine

 

90 oz of water today

 

How Do I feel? 

Today I woke up still a bit emotional, and went to the driving range. Though I struggled learning how to swing the club correctly by the time I came home I was feeling happier. I ran with the pups for just under 2 miles. I felt much better after that. Back to normal! FinallyJ

What did I eat Today:

Breakfast- Lentil Soup

Lunch- Salad with lemon juice, garlic and olive oil

Dinner- Stir Fry Veggies and Quinoa

Snack: Carrots and an orange

How Did I Feel Today?

Kept busy today and even went to a retirement party for a friend's dad with yummy food, and I was fine.  No real cravings, but starting to feel like I need some variety in my selection of food.  My clogged lymph in my armpit came back today.  Need to do some castor oil packs on my abdomen.

What Did I Eat Today?

Breakfast: Sweet Potatoes baked, latte with almond milk

Lunch: Green salad, cilantro, cucumber, avocado olive oil and lemon juice, Veggie broth soup with sweet potato and avocado, Apple Peanut Butter

Dinner Snack: Apple Peanut Butter

Dinner: Amaranth with almond milk and stevia

 

90 oz of water today

How Do I feel? Today was the toughest day for sure. I was hungry all day! We climbed A mountain in the morning and then in the evening I had a recital. After the recital, I got very emotional, and I don't know why.

 

Notice any changes in my body? Today I felt digestive discomfort. I feel like the fact I ate no soup today and ate solid foods that my intestines reacted slightly more than the other days.

 

Comments: Today was my toughest cleanse day so far.

Breakfast: Apple with Peanut Butter, water with lemon

Lunch: Split Pea Soup and carrots

Dinner: Veggie Burger on Whole Grain Bread

Snack: Carrots and Celery

LOTs of Water!

How I felt:

Today was good.  My body is adjusting to the change and my lymph seems to have cleared.  My anxiety is so much better.
